Dr. Ashutosh Kedar (M’10-SM’13) received his Ph.D. in Electronics Science, M.Tech., in Microwave Electronics, M.Sc. in Physics and B.Sc. in Physics degrees in 2003, 1998, 1995 and 1993 respectively, from University of Delhi, India. He has fulfilled his duties as lecturer for three and a half years at Department of Electronic Science (DOES), University of Delhi teaching Microwave courses and as Research Associate, CSIR for six months at University of Delhi. He joined as a scientist Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), DRDO, Bangalore in 2003. Presently he is leading Research & Development activities for Active Phased Array Antennas for various Radar applications at LRDE for different applications across the varying frequency bands. He has contributed towards design & development of Antenna/Antenna Arrays and RF & Microwave systems for various AESA Radars. He has also contributed on Electromagnetic Modeling and analysis of Normal and High Temperature Superconducting Microwave Passive Components using Method of Moments technique during his PhD tenure. His interests include Computational Electromagnetics, Evolutionary Optimization Techniques and Wide Scanning Active Phased Array Antennas. He has served as Chairman, Technical Session of IEEE-ISM in 2014, InCAP 2019, Connect 2020. He has authored more than sixty five research papers in different peer reviewed National/International Journals and Conferences and has al patent to his credit. He received DRDO technology group awards in 2010 and 2018 for indigenous development of single and four-walled active phased array radars. He has also received best paper award at ICMARS-08 and ATMS18 He is also contributing as reviewer towards reputed journals/conferences under IEEE, IET, PIERS, Wiley, IETE, AEUE, ACES, EUCAP, InCAP, Sadhana, etc.) He is listed in Asia’s who’s who. He is senior member IEEE, IEEE AP-S and Fellow, IETE
